Japanese natural whetstones Maruoyama Shiro Suita MSS1
One of the still active quarry stone from Kameoka is this Maruoyama Shiro Suita. Light grey color with little red Renge. Thick and clean without any inclusion or line with all corners intact. Uniform layers of nest with Namazu in between layers. This is creamy and smooth soft stone that is very easy to use. Great finishing stone for knives or tools.
